What's new:
Canopy now supports multi tenant users. A tenant is an instance or account that is separate from another. For example, if a client has both a tax accountant and a bookkeeper and they both use Canopy, the client can now log in to the Client Portal and toggle between their two accounts instead of logging out to log back in. The same goes for practitioners. If practitioners have had access/logins to two or more different accounts within Canopy, they can also now toggle between those tenants instead of logging out to log back in.
How it works:
For practitioners, click on your initials/image in the bottom left corner. The second option is "switch tenant."
After selecting “switch tenant” you will see all of the options available to you. These options will appear based on the usage of one common email across the tenants.
Note: If tenants are associated with different emails, switching will not be available.
Why it matters:
The pain of remembering multiple usernames and passwords is real. Especially if you go back and forth between the accounts multiple times in a day. Being able to easily swap between accounts provides a smoother, headache free experience.
